Full Reciprocity
Is awarded to individuals that live in Ohio even to non residents of Ohio. Neighboring States including Indiana will have reciprocity in Ohio as well (Pilots, In-flight Personnel, Armed Forces & Students.)
If you already hold an Ohio CCW permit, this addition will increase the number of States to your reciprocity roster-see maps.
Application fees are one of the lowest in the US for a 10 year period. Under 70.00 for a 5 year permit and renewals are 10.00- 15.00 thereafter.
Utah CCW Permit
Unlike other States that validate other State’s issued permits, the State of Utah mandates formal classroom training with a State Certified Instructor and a State issued curriculum. The class lasts about 4 hours.
This class will satisfy the State of Utah requirements of training outlined in the application process and allows non residents of the State of Ohio FULL RECIPROCITY in Ohio See reciprocity below.
UTAH Concealed Carry Reciprocity

In accordance with U.C.A. 76-10-523, Utah will honor a permit to carry a concealed firearm issued by another state or county. Of the states below that have formalized reciprocity or recognition with Utah, there are some states that will only accept the Utah concealed firearm permit so long as the permit holder is a resident of Utah. It is the responsibility of all Utah concealed firearm permit holders to know and understand the applicable firearm laws of the states within which they plan to visit or venture.
